What We Actually Do

If you have been taking supplements for months and still feel flat, the problem may not be the nutrient — it may be that your gut never absorbed much of it. IV and injection therapies bypass the digestive system entirely, so vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids go straight into the bloodstream, which means higher concentrations reach your tissues faster than diet or oral supplementation can manage.

Our IV Lounge on Lakeshore Road East in Mississauga is open and accepting new patients. Every drip and every injection here is given by a licensed naturopathic doctor — for IV therapy that is Dr. Jessica Liu, ND, our Clinic Director and Director of Fertility Care, and Dr. Hyun Jung Oh, ND, who focuses on perimenopause and menopause care. It starts with a full assessment of your health concerns and wellness goals, so the formula is chosen for you rather than picked off a menu. What we don't do is sell a drip as a cure, infuse anyone before that assessment, or push you into a series you don't need — if IV therapy isn't the right tool for what you're dealing with, we'll say so.

Let's break it down

Frequently Asked Questions

I've never had an IV before and needles make me nervous. Will it hurt, and how long am I sitting there?

Most people feel only a quick pinch as the small IV catheter goes into the arm. After that you settle into the IV lounge while the infusion runs — usually 30 to 90 minutes, and up to two hours for larger formulas. Your naturopathic doctor supervises you the whole time, using sterile equipment and established protocols. Bring a book or headphones; the session is designed to be restorative rather than clinical, and many patients tell us they leave feeling refreshed and energized.

How do I know which drip is right for me — can I just book the one I read about online?

We would rather assess you first, and that assessment is free. Book a complimentary IV therapy discovery session and one of our IV-certified naturopathic doctors will go through your health concerns and goals before recommending anything. Sometimes the answer is one of our classic cocktails — Foundation, Immune Defense, Energy & Clarity — and sometimes it is a custom formulation, an IM injection instead, or a different therapy altogether. If IV therapy isn't the right tool for what you're dealing with, we'll tell you that too.

What does it cost, is any of it covered by insurance, and what if I have to cancel?

Fees depend on the formula and the length of the infusion, so we go through them with you at your discovery session before you commit to anything. OHIP does not cover naturopathic care in Ontario, but many of our services are covered under extended personal healthcare benefits. We don't direct-bill third-party insurers; we issue official receipts you can submit for reimbursement. We accept debit, Visa, Mastercard, cash and personal cheques. If plans change, please give us 48 hours' notice — cancellations inside 48 hours are charged the full service fee.
